I am so excited about today's entry. Let me start by saying that I'm the FIRST one who will salivate over a cleverly structured theme party...in fact, it's kind of my thing :) And there are 5 gagillion (yup, count 'em) ways to do it tastefully for even and adult birthday party! BUT, there are those few people who might be hard to pick a theme for. Or maybe, you're just looking for a simple, yet super fun idea to build your adult birthday party around. SO, here's the brainstorm of the century...ready...use the centerpiece of any birthday party as the theme! What would that be?! THE CAKE!!!
This cake batter themed party has it all covered, even down to the cocktails :)Let me introduce you to the Cake Batter Martini...oh wow! They're actually fun to look at! And it is an adult birthday party...talk about a neat way to greet your guests! This recipe from How Sweet It Is will help get the party started...check out the recipe.
I'll admit that I am SUCH a sucker for a rice krispie treat at any party...but make them with cake batter in them?! I didn't even know you could do that!! Not to mention, they look so fun. Gimme Some Oven shows just how easy this treat can be...
For something a little different, how about mixing traditional bark candy with our featured ingredient, cake batter? You get this! Going back to How Sweet It Is, they show you how to put together this treat...
This treat I found completely by accident...and thank goodness, because it throws some much needed chocolate into our treat line-up. These Cake Batter Truffles kinda made me salivate...just sayin'. And you can too if you peek at these instructions from Baker's Royale and make them...
Lastly, how do these Cake Batter Blondies look?! Thank you Six Sister Stuff for this recipe!
I think it's safe to say, once you pull these treats together, you create a tasty and amazing theme for any adult...with a fun childhood flair. And my birthday's in April...in case you're wondering...and wanna throw a party...ahem...
Cheers,
SB
Love it! And now I want some sweets! You always have amazing ideas!
